Support House of Welcome by recycling. Each year, billions of containers are returned through Return and Earn in NSW. By recycling bottles, cans, and cartons, you help protect the environment while generating funds that directly benefit our community.

What is Return & Earn?

Return and Earn allows you to collect eligible drink containers and take them to a Return and Earn depot for a 10-cent refund per item. It’s an easy and rewarding way to recycle while supporting your community. By choosing to donate your refund to House of Welcome, every container helps provide vital support for refugees and people seeking asylum.

Search for ‘House of Welcome’ in ‘Browse Charities
Click House of Welcome and ‘Set as Pay Account’
Each time you recycle your bottles and cans, the proceeds will automatically go to House of Welcome.
Visit your nearest Return and Earn machine and return bottles and cans using the app yourself.
