What is Return & Earn?

Return and Earn lets you collect eligible drink containers and take them to a Return & Earn Depot to receive a cash refund. It’s an easy and rewarding way to recycle—and every container you return makes a real difference. Plus, for every container recycled, you can choose to donate 10 cents to House of Welcome, turning your recycling into vital support for our community.

Click House of Welcome and ‘Set as Pay Account’
Each time you recycle your bottles and cans, the proceeds will automatically go to House of Welcome.
Visit your nearest Return and Earn machine and return bottles and cans using the app yourself.

School & business partnerships

House of Welcome partners with schools and organisations to turn Return & Earn recycling into vital support for people seeking asylum and refugees. Collect eligible drink containers, return them for a 10-cent refund, and donate the proceeds to House of Welcome—helping raise funds, promote sustainability, and empower communities. You’ll receive a tax receipt for your full donation value at the end of the financial year—benefiting you and our cause!
