With extensive experience providing direct services to people seeking asylum and refugees, we have an important role to play in assisting the government to make positive policy changes. Our vision is for a fairer and more equitable society that recognises the dignity and human rights of all people.

We strive to raise public awareness about the realities of forced displacement and the complex challenges faced by people seeking asylum and refugees. Through storytelling, community engagement, and educational campaigns, we build greater understanding and empathy, dispel myths and foster support for inclusive, compassionate responses.

Amplify Voices

We are committed to ensuring that the lived experiences and perspectives of people seeking asylum and refugees are at the forefront of decision-making. By providing platforms to share their stories, we empower them to influence the policies and services that affect their lives. We believe meaningful change begins when those most affected are heard and actively involved in shaping solutions.

Influence Policy

We work to create lasting, systemic change by engaging with lawmakers and advocating for legislative and policy reforms. By presenting evidence-based recommendations and highlighting real-world impacts, we urge governments to adopt or amend policies that so that they uphold the rights, dignity, and wellbeing of refugees and people seeking asylum. Our goal is to ensure that Australia’s laws and systems reflect fairness, justice, and humanity for all people.
