Employment is essential for independence and dignity. Our programs support people seeking asylum and refugees to overcome barriers, develop job-readiness skills, and connect with employers, empowering them to rebuild their lives in Australia.


Work & Welcome program

Our 10-week Work & Welcome placement connects skilled people seeking asylum and refugees with host employers. Participants receive comprehensive candidate support, paid work experience, and the opportunity to build confidence and understand Australian workplace culture.


Pathways to Employment program

The Pathways to Employment program empowers people seeking asylum to secure meaningful work through personalised one-to-one support from experienced employment volunteers and practical job-readiness training. This includes resume development, interview preparation, education on workplace rights and responsibilities, assistance with online applications, and targeted skills development in high-demand industries.


House of Welcome Catering Traineeship Program

Our social enterprise creates meaningful employment pathways for people seeking asylum and refugees through global fusion-inspired catering.  

  • Provides paid 6-month commercial kitchen traineeships,  

  • Mentoring by our head chef gain skills, industry knowledge, confidence and Australian workplace experience 

  • Thorough candidate selection, supportive working environment, onboarding, and post-placement support
